Architectural Lighting

InCom was contracted to install architectural lighting at the Calgary International Airport.
We worked closely with other trades to install custom lighting fixtures in architectural steel, display cases, and millwork throughout the private lounges and the duty-free shop(s).

LIFE SAFETY SYSTEMS
Fire Alarm Upgrade to VESDA System
(Edmonton Remand Centre)
As Prime Contractor, InCom upgraded the traditional fire alarm equipment to the VESDA smoke aspiration system (VEA-40). Open-area smoke imaging detection (OSID) technology measures levels of smoke using laser detection.
BENEFITS OF VESDA:

Reduced maintenance costs – servicing is completed from a centralized detector and sample-points are self-cleaning

No downtime during service – ideal for critical power and reduced access facilities (oil & gas, hospitals, nursing homes, prisons, etc.)
SCOPE:

Replaced over 600 fire alarm devices

Installation of 540 sampling points, 36 VEA aspiration units, 72 emitters, 24 OSID imagers and over 90,000 linear feet of tubing

SERVICE & MAINTENANCE
Fire Alarm System Upgrade
(Alberta Infrastructure)
InCom was the Prime Contractor for the complete Fire Alarm System Upgrade at the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller, AB.
Work was completed while open to the public and without disturbing priceless exhibits and artifacts.
